LSU's most decorated incoming recruit. Parade Magazine All-American, USA Today Defensive Player of the Year; SuperPrep All-American. Nation's No. 1 senior prospect by Scout.com; No. 5 by Rivals.com. Also, consensus No. 1 choice as the nation's top cornerback prospect by both Scout.com and Rivals.com. Possesses all of the tools, speed and size, to be an excellent cover corner. Attacks routes and has excellent makeup speed. Runs 40 in 4.47 seconds. Intercepted five passes with 21 tackles with one interception returned for a touchdown as a senior when he also played on offense. Rushed for 733 yards and nine touchdowns in addition to returning one kickoff and one punt return for touchdowns. Was a Miami commitment until switching to LSU in November. Chose LSU over Florida and Florida State and announced his selection on national television during U.S. Army All-American Bowl played in San Antonio. Tried to enroll in LSU for the spring semester in January as a mid-term graduate, but NCAA delayed approval of his qualifying. Expected to qualify in time for summer classes.
