Considered one of the top defensive prospects in the Southeast. Member of ESPN.com Top 150; rated as one of nation's Top 20 safeties by both Scout.com (No. 16) and Rivals.com (18). Combines size, physical play of a linebacker with the range of a safety. Excels at roaming the middle of field and making big hits. Projects as a safety at LSU. Member of SuperPrep All-Dixie Team. Experienced player, who was a four-year starter at safety for Atlantic Community. Class 5A second-team All-State selection as senior, despite missing much of the season with a bruised medial collateral ligament. Runs 40 in 4.6 seconds with a 35-inch vertical leap. Chose LSU over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Projects as fully qualified.
